Forest Bathing in Los Angeles
I find refuge from the stress, discomfort, and ugliness of urban life in small pockets of nature spread throughout the city of Los Angeles. This is from a ten year series of photographs in the Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve, nestled between two freeways in the San Fernando Valley.
The record snowfall of 2017 lead to high snowmelt that summer, resulting in flooding of Yosemite Valley as the Merced River flowed over its banks.
