The Public's Land

This calendar celebrates places that are owned by the public and administered by federal, state, and local government agencies. Some are managed to maintain their inherent beauty, while others are managed for grazing, mining, or other ends. Few if any of the places captured here would exist without a legal or political fight to preserve them for the future.
